About the Series
Now in it’s 14th year on PBS, the Caverns Sessions (formerly Bluegrass Underground) is taped beneath Tennessee's majestic Cumberland Mountains deep within a unique subterranean amphitheater.
This 16-time EMMY award winning "musical adventure" series features long-established as well as America’s emerging artists in a broad spectrum of genres to include Roots-Rock, Jam Band, R&B, Country, Soul, Folk, Bluegrass and Americana—deep down sound from the underground!
Season XIV features Shakey Graves, Ruby Waters, the Violent Femmes, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, String Cheese Incident, Armchair Boogie, the Oak Ridge Boys, Jesse Roper, the SteelDrivers, Buckethead, and Flatland Cavalry.
